The Elk Creek Township Historical Society continues the mission, vision, and traditions begun by our founding members by sponsoring community events, a speaker series, coffeehouses and offering the building for use by groups and individuals for their special events.
Features and Events
Original 1855 Universalist Church that hosts:
Monthly coffeehouse on the third Saturday of each month @ 7 PM (March-December except for September which is replaced by a mini coffeehouse the last Saturday of Fair Week at the Albion Fair)
Seasonal community events include Photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Grinch, Pictures with the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt, Mother’s Day Tea
Outdoor Events including Coffee, Toast and Jam/Vendor Fair in August and Harvest Fest in October, and Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Quarterly Seasonal Movie Nights
Monthly speaker series including Civil War history talk, Native American speaker, Paranormal speaker, artisan speakers and demonstrations
Annual dinner/dance fundraiser in February

Our events are free but donations are deeply appreciated
