July is National Ice Cream Month and the Elk Creek Township Historical Society is celebrating with two ice cream socials.
On Sunday, July 12 2 – 4 pm the Society is hosting a Doggie Ice Cream Social for your favorite four-legged friend. In addition to the free doggie ice cream, Better Than Sticks will be selling all-natural dog treats and Because You Care, Inc. will be showing off a few of their adoptable dogs. Guests will have the chance to win a raffle basket from Paws’n Claws Playcare & Styling S’paw.
The Society’s monthly Coffee House is July 18 7 – 9 pm and includes…ice cream! Bring your most comfortable lawn chair and blanket and make yourself comfortable in front of the Elk Creek Township Historical Society’s outdoor stage.
Both events will take place at the Society’s Little Church on the Hill at 10410 High Street, Albion, off of Route 18. Events are free but donations are welcome. All contributions go toward the preservation of the Little Church.
