Dedication Scheduled for Two Historic Markers in Edinboro

The first of Edinboro Area Historical Society’s historical markers will be dedicated on Sunday, August 11th. The ceremony will be at 4:00 pm at Lakeside Beach after the Lakeside Tour of Cottage Homes.

The historical markers commemorate the Edinboro Grange #947, which is located on West Plum Street next to the Crossroads Dinor, and Sunset Camps, which is located on Route 99 across the road from the Sunset Grill.

The ceremony is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. The site is handicap accessible.

The markers were cast by Lake Shore Industries of Erie, the same company that created the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission marker for “Miracles on Maple Hill” and other historical markers located throughout the Commonwealth.
