Tickets available for the Edinboro Area Historical Society’s Annual Dinner

Dr. Ihor Bemko, Special Events Chairman, has invited local re-enactor Randall McCaslin to present at the Edinboro Area Historical Society’s annual dinner January 29th at 6:00 pm at Nick’s Place, 12246 Edinboro Road.

Members enjoy viewing the Kupper photographs on display at the 2013 annual dinner.

Mr. McCaslin is a living historian who has been re-enacting for ten years. He has attended over 50 living history events, including the 145th Battle of Antietam and the 150th Battle of Gettysburg. He has also participated in WWII and War of 1812 events. In his presentation titled “Confessions of a Living Historian,” Randall will share his re-enacting experiences, discuss the hobby and suggest why re-enacting is important.

When he is not re-enacting, Mr. McCaslin is the Manager for Learning Technology Services at Edinboro University. He has a BA in Humanities and a M.Ed. in Educational Administration/Leadership from Edinboro.

Tickets are $20 for members and $21 for non-members. Reservations must be received by Friday, January 24th. For additional information, contact the Society at 814.734.6109 or edinborohistory@gmail.com.
